| Notice here a pattern of gossip |
| and participation in the malevolent, un-Christian practice of slander on the part of the self proclaimed |
| "Vessels of Honor" Ralph and Kathy Haaff. |
| This is a nasty habit in which Ralph and
Kathy participate, and one which Kathy in particular, seems to
enjoy.
Notice also at the bottom of "page 15", that, after supposedly being warned by her husband to stop engaging in gossip, allegedly after agreeing to do so, Ralph returned from his trip to the speaking hall to discover that Kathy was still participating in the backbiting! This is a practice which continues to this day under the guise of "Bearing Witness". We also see below on "page 17," that after this incident, both Ralph and Kathy Haaff continued to be partakers of this vile addiction, and according to the text, "got closer" to Chris and Sharon Blodgett, refusing to "rebuke" them. This took place BEHIND THE BACKS of their "FRIENDS" James Lloyd and Susan Lenox.

The Bible specifically warns God's people against sowing discord among brethren in the chapter 6 verses 16-19 of the Book of Proverbs, which he hates and calls "an abomination". These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. Proverbs 16:28 also warns: A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends. Paul states in 2nd Corinthians 12:19-20: Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying. For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults: Unlike people, the Bible cannot be shouted down, ridiculed or manipulated without grave consequences. Those consequences which represent the wages of sin, are eternal.
